About

Ten years ago, an unspeakable tragedy leads Robert Strong down a path that forever alters his life.

Intelligent. Highly skilled. He works for an organization called the Board of World Representatives, whose sole purpose is the preservation of peace—except peace is difficult to come by these days, especially for the BWR’s founding members. When another member is found dead in his apartment, the BWR sends Robert to take point on the investigation.

Enter his prime and only suspect, a mysterious woman named Natalie Hayden. She’s beautiful. She’s savvy—and she’s guilty of both murders. But she knows a deep, dark truth about the BWR, and Robert soon realizes the past ten years have been a lie.

Now deemed fugitives, Robert and Natalie become allies as they work to overcome a mutual threat. They learn to trust one another, forging a deep bond that ultimately leads to an unexpected discovery.

Can they rise up to defeat their enemies, or will it lead to their downfalls?

Praise for this book

Thrillers are my favorite. When I saw this I decided to give it a read. This book is fast paced and I couldn’t put it down!
I loved that the two main protagonists work together as a team and actually care about each other, which I find refreshing. I’ve read books that lack this. The romance between the two characters builds up gradually. They start out as reluctant allies, then trusted partners who have each other’s backs as the story’s antagonist relentlessly pursues them.
This book is dark with a bit of humor sprinkled in. There were times I was on the edge of my seat. I even got a bit emotional near the end! I was never disappointed - except this book ends on a cliffhanger and now I’m anxious to see what happens. Can’t wait for the next book!

I enjoyed every second of this book. I could not put it down and took it with me everywhere I went to read when I could.
I hope there is a sequel!

This book had me hooked from beginning to end. The writing was excellent, and the plot kept me turning the pages. It was left open for a sequel, and I will be impatiently waiting for that release. Highly recommend!!!!!
